In May, U+ will hold its general assembly, where you all get to discuss our past and future activities as well as to elect (and stand for) the board. But before this, we’d like to effect a few changes to our bylaws, and this requires your formal approval.
What are the proposed changes?
- Extend the term of board members to two years: one year is too short for board members to make a mark.
- In order to ensure continuity, one half of the board would be up for election every year.
- There is currently a limit to how many times a member can be reelected to the board, and we don’t think it serves a very useful purpose.

En mai, U+ tiendra son Assemblée générale, pendant laquelle nous discuterons de ses activités passées et futures, et élirons le Conseil d’administration. Avant cela, cependant, nous souhaitons recueillir votre accord sur quelques modifications des statuts.
Quels sont les changements proposés ?
- Étendre à deux ans la durée du mandat des membres du CA : un an est trop court pour agir vraiment.
- Afin d’assurer une certaine continuité, une moitié du CA serait renouvelée chaque année.
- Il existe pour l’instant une limite au nombre de mandats qu’un administrateur peut accomplir, et nous ne pensons pas qu’elle soit vraiment utile.
